You will see from my bio and my portfolio that my art making dances with my academic scholarship around the topics of climate grief, Indigenous knowledge, traditional ecological knowledge, Gaia theory, reproductive health justice, religion, spirituality and race, environmental justice, planetary thinking, ethnobotany and sacred plants, and global origin stories. I am committed to approach my artistic work, both studio arts and writing, from a foundation of uncovering gender, environmental, race, and class oppressions and helping to reveal the ways that we might decolonize our knowledge about ourselves, each other, and the Earth.
